We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Brandenburg's Förderbank ILB. As a public venture capital company with a stable corporate environment, we ensure a strong equity base for startups and small and medium-sized enterprises in Brandenburg so that they can grow safely and sustainably.
The Equity Fund, currently worth around 100 million euros, is available for this purpose. The Equity Fund, which has been set up on behalf of the Brandenburg State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Climate Action is currently financed with capital from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and ILB's own funds.
Together with our co-investors, we have invested 980 million euros in Brandenburg's dynamic companies since 1993. We see ourselves not only as an investor, but also as a strategic sparring partner. We actively support our portfolio companies on their way from startups to international players.
