Software for automatic detection of deep vein thrombosis - ThinkSono in Portrait

Potsdam - February 2021. Using artificial intelligence (AI) to detect deep vein thrombosis and thereby saving lives is the main task of ThinkSono, an eHealth start-up based in Potsdam and London. The company has developed the world's first software that detects deep vein thrombosis (DVT) at an early stage thereby simplifying the diagnostic procedure.

ThinkSono's intelligent software (AutoDVT) supports ultrasound examinations. Step by step, the AI guides through the examination and enables a reliable diagnosis so that it can also be carried out by non-specialised personnel.

In 2019, the company was already able to convince a jury of experts with its process and was granted the Berlin Brandenburg Innovation Award.

Brandenburg Kapital GmbH has been supporting the company since 2020.
