Hoppegarten - August 2021. silvertex aqua GmbH, a portfolio company of Brandenburg Kapital, is a supplier of an innovative water preservation system based on silver ions, the use of which develops germ-inhibiting and germ-reducing effects in liquids.

In an interview with "Easy Engineering International", silvertex provides insights into the future of the water industry and answers how silver can help make water safe. Clean water on the go is not a given! However, with silvertex's "goowaco" product, any water tank can transport clean water. The products are already being used by customers for air washers and in the caravan market. Water in very small and large water tanks can remain permanently clean, so many people can benefit from this technology and protect the scarce resource of water.

About silvertex aqua GmbH

silvertex aqua GmbH was founded by Mrs. Birgit Dürsch in 2015 and took over the exclusive production and distribution license for silvertex®, a knitted and internationally patented technical textile with partial silver coating. Due to its special silver surface properties, the optimally large contact surface in the water constantly and self-dosingly releases a low concentration of silver ions which, when they come into contact with bacterial cells, prevent them from dividing and thereby multiplying. This makes silvertex® not only suitable as a self-sufficient and long-term protection, but also as an alternative to or a reduction in the use of chemical and thermal disinfection.
