Eberswalde - August 2021. Dryad Networks GmbH, portfolio company of Brandenburg Kapital, prevailed and won the prestigious TTI Global Impact Award. Top Tier Impact is an ecosystem of investors, companies and professionals, now numbering 500 members, from over 40 countries, which is focused on solving the critical issues of our time. The TTI Global jury assessed Dryad as an authoritative solution to mitigate the effects of climate change and awarded the company first place in the field of energy and environment.

Dryad is developing a large-scale IoT network for ultra-early forest fire detection. The new system helps both public and private forest owners monitor, analyze and protect even the largest and most remote forests around the world, combating the devastating effects of forest fires on the environment, wildlife and society.

About Dryad Networks

Dryad is an IoT environmental startup based in Brandenburg, Germany. The company was founded in September 2020 with the goal of developing a large-scale IoT network that helps public and private forest owners monitor, analyze and protect even the largest and most remote forests around the world. Initially, the focus is on the development of a system for ultra-early forest fire detection. Backed by investors STIHL Digital, the corporate venture arm of the STIHL Group, the German energy company LEAG, the impact investor ISAR AG and ILB's venture capital arm Brandenburg Kapital, Dryad has secured €1.8 million in seed funding and another €1.6 million in grants and low-interest loans from ProFIT Brandenburg.
