Wildau – February 2022. The Wildau-based electromobility start-up from the Brandenburg Kapital portfolio, me energy, has gained a new partner. The regional network dahme_innovation is an association of business, science and administration in the technology and research region of Zeuthen, Wildau and Königs Wusterhausen. Together with the Wirtsschaftförderuhgsgesellschaft Dahme-Spreewald (Dahme Spreewald Business Development Agency) the actors involved are committed to joint location development and joint location marketing, among other things. Thanks to the network, the region on the Dahme will be further strengthened internally and externally with science, research and high-tech.

me energy is the first provider and operator of grid-independent and C02-neutral rapid-charging stations for electric vehicles. The rapid-charging stations, Rapid Charger 150, are mobile and generate the required electricity (150 kW charging current) directly on site from bioethanol based on biomass or bioresidues – and are C02-neutral. With its products and services, me energy offers its customers complete and scalable fast charging solutions from a single source - including green electricity and leasing options.

In addition, me energy is on a growth course. Series production of the Rapid Charger 150 has recently started. The goal: 1,000 rapid-charging stations are to make a contribution to green mobility within the next five years and ensure the acceptance and breakthrough of electromobility. Two charging stations will soon be delivered to Brandenburg's State Office for Real Estate and Construction (BLB) and BASF in Ludwigshafen, among others.

Brandenburg Kapital GmbH has been supporting the company together with business angels and private investors since 2019.
