ILB subsidiary Brandenburg Kapital invests in IT monitoring service

CloudRadar offers server and network monitoring as a cloud-based pay-as-you-go solution for small and medium-sized businesses

Potsdam, 15 March 2019: The cloud-based IT monitoring service CloudRadar raises a six-figure sum from the early-stage and growth fund of Brandenburg Kapital, a subsidiary of Brandenburger Förderbank ILB. This will enable the company to further expand its lead in monitoring-as-a-service.

"The team behind CloudRadar has been involved in monitoring for over 10 years," explains Mathias Bosse, Senior Investment Manager, "and has developed a tool that makes IT monitoring accessible and affordable for small and medium-sized enterprises. For our portfolio, software-as-a-service is an essential growth area in which we want to invest."

"We are very pleased that Brandenburg Kapital's Seed and Growth Fund is investing in CloudRadar," says Thorsten Kramm, founder and CEO of CloudRadar. "This will enable us to further perfect our monitoring solution and make it accessible to our customers worldwide."

CloudRadar offers professional IT monitoring of servers, networks, websites and publicly accessible servers and services as a complete solution. The service is aimed specifically at small and medium-sized enterprises, can be set up in just a few minutes thanks to the intuitive web interface and offers a pay-as-you-go price model that charges only one euro per month for the servers, devices or websites that are actually used. This provides CloudRadar with a low-cost alternative to on-premise software solutions that result in significantly more costs and effort for the configuration and maintenance alone. Thanks to encryption and open agent source code, CloudRadar also meets the highest requirements for security and audibility.
