Portfolio company Industrial Analytics successfully sold to Infineon


Potsdam – August 2022. Brandenburg Kapital, venture capital company of the Brandenburg development bank ILB, has successfully sold its shares in Industrial Analytics IA GmbH to Infineon Technologies AG, the world's leading supplier of semiconductor solutions.

Industrial Analytics develops solutions based on artificial intelligence, for example, to monitor plants and detect critical developments at an early stage.

Brandenburg Kapital already invested in Industrial Analytics as an early-stage investor as part of a seed financing in 2019. By acquiring the IA solution, Infineon will strengthen its software and service business in the field of applying artificial intelligence to the predictive analysis of machinery and industrial plants, according to Sebastian Bertram, responsible Senior Investment Manager at Brandenburg Kapital.

Industrial Analytics is an AI-IoT company that provides online condition monitoring for machinery and equipment in the process industry.
