Important milestone for ThinkSono: EU-approval for Guidance software and further financing


Potsdam - april 2024. Saving lives by discovering deep vein thrombosis (DVT) with artificial intelligence (AI) is what ThinkSono, an e-health- start-up located in Potsdam and London, made its goal. The Guidance software from ThinkSono is the world’s first software which allows medical personnel, that is not trained in ultrasound technology, to scan patients with suspected blood clots (DVT) and to send the data to qualified clinicians for verification. This way clinical workflows are improved.

The company can now celebrate an important milestone. The EU-approval (CE-class IIb) of the Guidance software. In addition, the company raised 2,4 million Euro lead by Id4 Ventures with participation of Brandenburg Kapital, Dubai Angel Investors (DAI), Crowdcube, CUR8 and further angel investors.

Brandenburg Kapital GmbH has been supporting the company since 2020.
